Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, laid the foundation stone for the establishment of the project of King Faisal Specialist Hospital
On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier, Advisor and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, laid the foundation stone for the establishment of the project of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSHRC) in its new location, north of Jeddah, on Tuesday evening.
Upon arrival at the venue, Prince Muqrin was received by Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah, the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, and a number of officials.
In his speech, the General Supervisor of the General Executive Organization for King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, Dr. Qasim bin Othman Al-Qasabi pointed out that the project is located on an area of 2 million square meters in the vicinity of King Abdulaziz Airport, and that it is estimated to cost an amount of SR 1.77 billion. In its first phase, the Hospital will have a capacity of 650 beds, he said.
The ceremony was attended by Prince Turki Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz; Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed, Minister of Education; and a number of princes.
